The Night with the Starboy
Soooooooo, if you did not know, I am a HUGE fan of the artist The Weeknd. I have been a fan of his even before he went mainstream. Like House of Balloons fan, lol. I have been to every concert that has come to Washington, DC and plan in the future to travel and see him especially in his hometown in Canada. I recently attended the Starboy tour in May and it was my Christmas gift from my mom. Idk how much she spent but I usually spend around $350.00 for one ticket and usually I’m pretty close. This time I was a little further away but who cares I was at a Weeknd concert. The line-up was a little dry to me because I really wanted Banks and I’m not into a lot of the latest Rap music. The line-up was 6Lack, Belly, and Rae Sremmurd. I purposely came late and was there only for Rae Sremmurd which was good because they were the only artist I know and I like some of their songs. Then the main event came out and completely killed it. Like he always does, he improves his shows every year. I loved he didn’t just perform only songs from his latest album “Starboy” and even went back to his mixtapes. The stage and light set up was incredible and like nothing I’ve ever seen before. I loved the concert so much that he is doing a part 2 of the Starboy tour in September with Gucci Mane and I will be right there. Wait for the post lol.
